It's 1.00pm on Saturday 17th. In front of the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics stand at the Stafford Show, a crowd of John McGuinness fans are waiting for him to be interviewed by road racer turned broadcaster, Steve Plater.

Before this can get underway, there's a small but very important matter to attend to. Rupert Murden, of the Isle of Man Vintage Motorcycle Club, is going to present a cheque for £10, 655.92 to John McGuiness; and no, it's not for pies and pints.

This money was raised by Wemoto, selling specially designed and printed T-shirts online and at this year's Jurby Festival, in aid of the Manx GP Supporters' Club helicopter ambulance fund - to keep this vital emergency service available throughout the Manx Grand Prix race and practice weeks.

The T-shirts had been signed by John, Michael Rutter and Connor Cummins, and were snapped up in their hundreds by Classic TT fans who visited the Wemoto marquee at the Jurby Festival. They were also available online, and Steve Plater gave them a plug as the Isle of Man VMCC crew had a supply at their promotion stand.

So a big thanks from us at Wemoto to all who contributed!

Watch out for next year's T-shirt - we've got a new design under wraps in our studio already.
