The Honda CX motorcycle series was developed in the 1970s and ran until the 1980s and was the first V-Twin engined range of bikes that Honda built. The series incorporated design features which were unusual like liquid cooling, dual CV-type carburetors tuned for reduced emissions and electric only starting. The crankshaft was aligned longitudinally with the bike’s axis – similar in design to the Moto Guzzi.
