Scottish and English law firms unite to help motorcyclists after accidents

John Newman

Scotland; as close to perfect motorcycle touring as you can get, if you ignore the variable meteorology and the summer midges. But fortunately for the Scottish tourist trade these don't deter hoards of motorcyclists venturing north to enjoy the virtually empty roads and grand scenery.

But just as anywhere else on the planet, crashes happen, and because English and Scottish law is different. If you're involved in a road incident that involves injury it can lead to untold complications.

To try and mitigate this, two leading motorcycle accident law firms in England and Scotland have joined together to assist riders who may have come to grief and need representation for insurance injury claims.

Motorcycle Law Scotland and Lampkin and Co who are based near Chester in England will combine their expertise and experience to represent riders. If you are an English resident rider and have a collision in Scotland, your claim is subject to Scottish law; and if you're are a Scottish rider involved in a collision in England, this country's laws apply. So the link up makes good sense.

Brenda Mitchell, founder of Motorcycle Law Scotland, who has 27 years experience as a personal injury lawyer said:

“By working together both Motorcycle Law Scotland and Lampkin and Co Solicitors will ensure cross border clients get the specialist representaion they deserve when claiming for often very serious injuries sustained in motorcycle accidents. Motorcyclists injured in road traffic accidents need the benefit of expert knowledge that can only come from experienced motorcycling lawyers who are committed to providing the very highest standard of legal representation”.

Many people involved in road traffic accidents do not realise that they can choose who they are represented by, and not just accept the insurer's choice. Because of the often unique nature of motorcycle crashes it is best to instruct an independent motorcycle accident lawyer.
