So Take, These Golden Wings!
Honda's 2021 model line-up includes updates to the GL1800 Gold Wing and Gold Wing 'Tour'
With motorcycles proving to be an increasingly popular mode of transport in these times of social distancing, Honda's 2021 model line-up of 24 new or upgraded models, includes all the old favourites like the GL1800 Gold Wing and Gold Wing Tour.
Reborn in 2018 as a much lighter more agile machine than its forefathers, the Gold Wing, benefited from a flat six cylinder 1800cc engine and lots of additional features like an optional 7 speed dual clutch transmission. Now the Gold Wing GL1800 appears with new colours like Pearl Deep Mud Grey with orange accents – looks good but don't know about naming a colour for a Gold Wing motorcycle 'deep mud' but hey ho Honda usually know what they're doing! The Gold Wing 'Tour' has been made more comfy for long distances with a new seat and relaxed pillion backrest angle, and now comes in Gunmetal Black Metallic or Candy Ardent Red. It comes with a bigger top box to accommodate two crash helmets which is useful on a tourer. Both motorcycles also now have upgraded audio and speakers.
The Honda 2021 range of motorcycles includes the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, CBR650R and twin-cylinder CBR500R for Sports bike fans. That perennial favourite the good old Africa Twin plus NC750X and CB500X compact adventurer, are built for adventure seekers. Scooter riders are catered for too, with the Forza125 and 350, joined by the Forza750, dripping with technology and extra comfy for two (Forza still sounds like a pizza though!). There are plenty of bikes to choose from for new riders in the 2021 range, like the: Forza 125, PCX125, SH125, SH Mode and Vision 110 scooters, the CB125F, CB125R and MSX Grom motorcycles. All fun, practical, comfortable and economical bikes and Honda have been around for a long time and know the road. Will we all be riding electric Hondas before too long – doubtless we will!
