The Kevin Ash Memorial Scholarship
Programme to help aspiring motorcycle journalists
An introductory seminar, open to anybody who is interested in a career in motorcycle journalism is taking place on August 29 at Coventry University.
This is part of the launch of a new scholarship programme aimed at helping aspiring young journalists with a particular interest in going into the world of motorcycle journalism. It is a joint initiative from the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA), Motor Cycle News, and The Daily Telegraph.
The programme is called
The Kevin Ash Memorial Scholarship in recognition and memory of the very well repected motorcycle journalist Kevin Ash. The programme will be open to students applying to join the Automotive Journalism MA course at Coventry University.
The winning applicant will get a bursary of £1500 and a chance to get some real journalistic work experience at both Bauer Media’s motorcycling titles and the Telegraph.
