This is the moment you've all been waiting for. The big reveal of the much anticipated 2017 Festival of Jurby T-shirt design. This year, it's in celebration of the legendary rider Bob McIntyre.

2017 marks the 60th anniversary of McIntyre becoming the first person ever to lap the 37.73-mile Mountain Course on the Isle of Man at over 100mph. A feat which he achieved on 12th June 1957, just one week after winning the Junior TT.

McIntyre was riding a four-stroke 500cc Gilera when he made racing history. His number was 78, and he was racing in the Golden Jubilee Senior TT. Not only did he reach 100mph, his second and fourth laps were recorded at 101mph. He won the Senior TT that year, becoming the 6th man in TT history to record a double victory.

We've put Bob McIntyre and his Gilera on this year's Festival of Jurby T-shirt as a way commending his extraordinary feat. A t-shirt which will be worn by many at this year's TT events, and which will also help riders and families in years to come.

All profits raised from the sale of the t-shirts go to the Manx Grand Prix Supporters' Club. A charity which helps fund the MGP's life-saving helicopter ambulances on practice and race days during the Manx Grand Prix. In the event of an accident, the helicopter provides an essential rescue service. It's able to quickly access otherwise hard to reach parts of the TT course, complete with medical staff and equipment.

The charity also supports injured Manx Grand Prix riders and their families. Not to mention the funds it donates to help with medical equipment such as the new 'scoop' stretchers and a new ambulance which will support all motorsports on the island.

We're in our third year of raising funds for the club, managing to raise over £26,000 over the last two years. This year we'll need your help to raise even more.

We hope you like the new design. The 2017 Festival of Jurby T-shirt, which is endorsed by John McGuinness and other racing legends, will be available to buy online very soon.
