We Are Brighton, Super Brighton
Can you ride your motorcycle or scooter to your local game?

Now the football season is really under way, the vexed question of how to get there is rearing it's ugly head. In many places the crowded tramp along the streets to the stadium is a thing of the past. In Brighton the stadium has left town, to be replaced by another shopping destination - hmm we really needed more shops!! Now the Seagull's stadium is out of town at Falmer, making getting there a lot more of a mission.
There are trains from Brighton station, with steel barriers funnelling fans like sheep heading for the sheep dip onto them, until they are packed to the brim. There are park and ride buses, or a long-ish walk over the downs from the nearest suburb. Driving there is not really viable, unless you are very hardcore, because of parking and traffic jams, and in desperation some folks park the night before in the very limited laybys along the road over the downs leading to the ground from the south. Altogether quite annoying - unless - you have a motorcycle or scooter!
Oh yes, the Amex allows motorbikes and scooters to park right next to the stadium, so you can swoop in at anytime you like and get a space to park your bike free, gratis and for nothing, and miss the cattle train, long march or traffic jam experience altogether.
Yet another good reason to have a motorcycle eh as if we needed another? A motorcycle or scooter is a very practical way to get to the game, (clearly supported by the stadium hence the free bike parking) as bikes offer easy speedy access, reduce traffic jams and get fans in and out, in two shakes of a lamb's tail, with the minimum of fuss and no contribution to the traffic chaos.
We were wondering what happens at other football clubs around the country. Do you attend football games in the season which is now upon us? If so do other clubs offer free football parking to motorcyclists? Do you use your bike to get to the stadium, is it easy? We'd really like to know?
