If you’re looking for Batteries for your motorcycle, scooter or ATV then we have what you are looking for. It is essential that you buy and fit the correct battery, this will ensure easy starting and the best performance. There are various types of batteries out there such as VRLA, Gel and AGM batteries. VRLA are Valve Regulated Lead Acid or 'Maintenance Free' batteries which don't need topping up. In AGM or Absorbed Glass Mat batteries, the electrolyte in the battery is held in a glass fibre mat which helps to protect it from vibration. Gel batteries are factory filled with acid so the purchaser doesn't need to add it at home. They are fully sealed so leaks are prevented and they are easy to handle.
As well as battery types, there are also a number of different battery brands in stock at Wemoto, including Nitro - a quality pattern battery identical to the OEM battery but at a lower price. Yuasa - a battery fitted as OE equipment for many motorcycle models. Motobatt - a sealed AGM high torque battery upgrade with higher cold cranking amps and often better starting than the motorcycle's original battery. Lithium Ion batteries - smaller lightweight batteries (1/3 the weight of a normal lead-acid battery) but with higher torque for improved starting.
Wemoto also stocks all the associated parts you will need for your battery to keep it safely connected and securely fixed to your engine like Battery cables, which are used to connect your battery to the engine. They are good OEM quality with a metal core (often copper) and are insulated to protect them from oil, acid, salt, fuel and abrasion. Battery Band Rubber Straps are resilient wide rubber bands available to fit your battery and keep it in place on the bike, ensuring it is securely fixed to the bike to prevent it from falling off. Battery band rubber straps also damp the battery to cushion it from vibration and generally protect it from jarring or shaking loose. Battery Terminals are available if you need to change the angle of your terminals for a better fit in your engine, or if one breaks or needs replacing.
